The best rc18t motor money can buy
Ok guys, the title says it all. I'm looking for a new brushless motor for my rc18b, to upgrade from my mamba 5400. What do you suggest? I'm looking for more speed, dont need too much more torque (never hurts though ). I'm using an apogee 1500 3s lipo for the juice. For the purposes of suggestion, money is not an issue.

What about one of the really high output 480-sized motors like the E-Flite six series motors? They're a lower kV rating but a very high rated wattage, especially compared with the stock 5400. I wonder what that would do to your esc though... lol.

Wraith 7k is a nasty 2s motor, but on 3s it's a no go (7000kv! Not a good idea...). Maybe a Lehner 1015 or 1010 would work well. Their bigger sized motors are very efficient and powerful, so I would imagine the little guys are awesome. Now the Kv would depend on how fast you want to go with that 3s pack and what kind of current it can handle. The only issue is tracking down a lehner, they're a little tough to get find now a days.
