Radio freqency question

Hi I am a Newbie... happy new year everyone!

I want to know, what is the legal freqency for RC? Is that FM40 legal in North Amercia?

Nope. 27MHz, 75Mhz for surface in USA.

50MHz also if you have a HAM license, and don't forget 2.4GHz either.
40 is military band if I remember right. You'll get in deep doodoo for that.

Where are you located at? 40mhz allowed in Europe & Asia. US or North & South America FCC only 27 &75mhz for RC frequency allowed.

How about 2.4g? Is that legal to use in North America?

Is that USA and Canada has the same rule?

Yes, it is legal to use the 2.4GHz band in North America, which is why the systems from Spektrum, Futaba(their FASST stuff) & others are so popular now(& even KO Propo is about to release one for their radios, a module just like Spektrum's).....
