Okay Glenn, I thought we had a deal! No lipo for Todd! He's already too fast in the M-chassis class!

Not gonna make it today, should next weekend, though. Besides, James and Chris will probably turn 60 laps in legend today, and Todd's gonna turn 45 in M-chassis!

Well, I'm here, just in from meeting Jamie at the track. Still sleeting here. No Glenn at the track either. Roads are very slippery at best. 70 is like one brown lane in most places, 581 is a nice white slip and slide and Community Dr. has like only a couple of tracks on it. This is for me pretty easy,, stay home! My Capri does NOT like this stuff!!

Sorry everyone. Went to the track this morning and streets look bad. Weatherman says more coming all day and don't want anyone getting stuck at the track. Hope to see everyone next saturday.

So who wants to give Brandon Willis and myself the hardest time for driving all the way down Saturday from the coast?(guess we all know who is the most dedicated!) Hey Glen, did you get those motors and lipo's in for the mini's? Was gonna pick it up Saturday but guess it will be this Saturday. Thanks Jamie

Hey Ron, you gonna have that mini ready for Saturday? Was also wondering if anyone had an associated pan car for sale now that the birds are over? Itching to try the truck class for some reason, thanks guys. Jamie

Manny,

We planned it to be 21st because the 7th was only a week off from snowbirds, and then the 14th is valentines day dude Some of us would get shot over that one lol.

If enough people want to come the 7th I'm willing to as well, but as long as it doesn't take away from the amount of people coming the 21st since that is the date most agreed on. Glenn is pretty laid back about dates as long as enough people show. Running that heater aint cheap

PM me your number and we will talk.

Well I just woke up from coming back from Orlando. I think I got home around 4am after chipping the ice off my car from leaving it at the track this past week lol.

All the oval guys from RW did really well. Some super exciting oval racing down there. I'm sure you all will hear more about it from them lol. Especially the truck class....aye aye aye that was some bad luck right there. They all did really well, Eric, Laurie, George, Will, Ritchie, Bill, Dennis, Joel all made the higher mains and won some of them too.

the 7.5 oval mod class was no joke! Insane speed and they sounded like they were ripping the carpet in the turns.

The 600 lap oval race was really fun to watch. Basically touring guys and oval guys team up for a endurance race. Everyone was laughing and cutting up during that one. At one point Adam Bailey brought a beer to Barry Baker on the drivers stand while they were doing a tire change The thing most oval guys commented on about that race was Jilles Groskamp (Tamiya driver) driving the CRC oval car with his stick radio! He was really good at it too!

Touring was insane because of speed controller technology (Oval guys felt it too no doubt) With 17.5 class fast laps being within a tenth or two off from full blown mod touring. Its all mod now lol. Both me and Justin were fighting setups and rough qualifiers most of the time we were there. Justin basically had to rebuild his car with new parts when we got there and I was still getting used to a car I've only had for a few weeks. But in the end Justin was able to pull off 3rd in the bmain of 17.5 and I got 9th in the cmain of 13.5.

We all had fun and look forward to next year

Hey Timmie, I'm down for the 7th and the 21st as well, shoot I'm just gonna rent a house down there somewhere and just come down on thursday nights and make a three day weekend of it every weekend! LOL!!! It might become permanent though when my wife divorces me!!! Seriously though if everyone wants to run on the 7th too, just post it and I'll be there. Might can get Laurie to dust off the old x-ray, and I'm sure Brandon would run a mini-cooper, I'm down for vintage and cooper both.

Ha! wow thats pretty hard core. Bring your wife and put a controller in her hand....thats the trick. Then if she likes it you'll be able to do all the racing you want

I saw on the weather channel tonight their predicting snow for Friday....so yeah we will see how it goes.

Did you get that 416X built yet?

You mentioned earlier that you wanted everyone to have a good time and you could help some people out. I don't have a 27T or a 17.5 so I was going to see if there was a possibility someone could loan me one if I make the drive down there. I race off road but I've been wanting to try onroad for a while now. Also what type of tire do most of you use for the 17.5 touring?

I'm SO tired of the snow already!!! And the 416 is sitting on the shelf still shrink wrapped, I'm waiting to debut it for the outdoor season. LMAO! Really just waiting to see one in action compared to the 415, honestly I know I'm not good enough to tell the difference between the two and was thinking of holding off on putting it together until I knew what the turnout is gonna be this summer. How does it run compared to your old 415? Mine has all the upgrades to make it a 415MSXX( Thanks Laurie! )
