Hmmm... I used to go to a hobby shop at the Cloth Barn, I think, with Rick Dixon way back in the mid, to late 80's. I remember hearing over there that there was some racing going on at the base. Me and a friend of mine ended up with JR-X2's, Rick had a Turbo Ultima, my brother in law had a TQ10, and we used to race down my driveway, across a berm into the field next to my house, and back. Those were the days...

Hey Ron. I thought I'd respond here.
No, actually, it's not the radio, it's the driver. I really didn't have good reflexes and coordination when I was young, and I'm worse now. I even mess up turns running oval, so I don't do well at all on on-road. If I make a lap, and not hit anything, I feel like it's a good one!
No, for me to run well, I have to have a mechanical advantage.

Think I'm just gonna bring the slider this weekend. Can't seem to get the bugs worked out of the Legend car.

Don't forget "THE COLOMBO MEMORIAL RACE" tomorrow. Should be a barn burner! I would get here early! This is friday and we already have 25 guys practicing! Plaques 1-3 in all classes plus shirts and hats to be given away.
Entree $20.00 first class and $15.00 second class. Proceeds goes to Childrens Cancer Research. Come out and help support this great cause and have fun racing at the same time. Cya there.

Yea, I'm bringing the slider. I'll probably leave the Legend car at home tomorrow. Got no chance of winning in that class. The guys that raced with us last week said there should be some more sliders coming, some with late model bodies.

how about a tractor trailer class? I got one!! LOL Or a 4 wheel drive class?
Man will someone please buy my E-Maxx? Or my Aluminum Mini-T? 125 for the maxx no radio but new tires, rims, heavy duty body, 23mm drive hexes, and 100 for the T, no radio. Or maybe you want to try crawling? Got a nice TLT-1 with a Penguin chassis. This one is ready to go, has a spool instead of center diff, chrome axles, battery, radio, full bearings. This one is a little more, 200. Please contact me for more info, or better yet, show me the money!!
