1/12th Scale And 2wd Gearbox
Where did all the 1/12th scale and 2wd gearbox guys go ?
TRD always had a good crowd and so have other tracks. The CTCS is offering both of these classes, they are alot of fun to run and a challenge. There will be plaques at all the events and everyone is eligible for all the giveaways as well.
For the 2wd gearbox and off road guys, if you have ever wanted to try touring, this is your chance, slap on some street tires and have at it. There will be some awesome prizes at the end of season banquet including a HPI Firestorm for the winner of the 2wd gearbox class.

now if I could get gas for like around 2.00 a gallon, I might be able to come. But seeing as that aint ever gonna happen, I'm stuck here in Goldsboro, where the series aint at with a 1/12th, and a Mini that both miss on-road. (The 415 is gone,,) Not to try and piss anyone off, but if there had been a call made to Rosewood, there might have been on-road there this summer.

Tim- almost no one runs 12th scales on asphalt. I think the last 2-3 ROAR outdoor nast only got like 8-10 each race.
They are mainly a carpet class.

I understand, but right now there is just a lack of carpet tracks in this area. I was just trying to offer those with them a place to run. Superior Hobbies has tremendous success with 1/12 scale at there races. They run on a seal asphalt parking lot.

Right, but you are looking at two totally different types of racers, between Superior (FLA.) and the NC area.
