T-maxx high revs ???

my t maxx will start idel fine and then wow the r's shoot up. i have to pull the gas line to shut her off for sum reason it is locked in reverse and it is a foward tranny? any ideas would be helpfull. i am running a 3.3 engine with a pipe. and i was also wondering what is the best way to tell if your motor needs a rebuild if the gravity test is fine? thanks ryan

Don't forget, you can always call 888-TRAXXAS and they'll help you out over the phone. The customer service guys here (I work at Traxxas) do a great job, they'll be hapy to help you out. And it's easy to get through--it's not like calling the cable company or tech support for your PC!

gravity test? could be a very lean low speed needle causing your high idle, what pipe are you running?
have you had the diffs out of the truck? if there in upside down it will go backwards
