Fayetteville Model Racing Club Presents

The 2011 Independence Bash will be back this year
date is July 3rd
classes will be
17.5 Touring Car
GT Touring Car
1/12th scale 17.5
Big news and change for this year will be Half the entry per class will go to the top 3 finishers in the A-main
trophies will be given out to top 5 in A's and winners of lower classes
the flier will be out in April for this race
entry fee will be $15 for the 1st class and $10 for the second

less than 3 weeks away please preregister so I have an Idea of how many trophy's to get thanks we all ready have 6 entries but I know there will be more

Is the touring gt the same as we run in Rosewood? Silver can motor, sports car body, 1500 gram weight limit, Spec solaris tires.

Due to the fact that there is only 1 GT registration we will be dropping that class and only offer 17.5 touring car and 17.5 12th scale I cant wait to see everyone on Suday

Wow i was hoping there would be more GT or at least some kind of open or RWB class. Oh well no need of making the trip por nada. Hope there will be video footage

well we are running 17.5 boosted and if you need a motoor I am sure we can find you pne Pete come on down there was only 1 pre entry and that was my son so I made the decision to scrap that class to be able to order the trophies and build his car for 17.5

Thanks chris but i dont have any 17.5 stuff anymore. Heck i dont even have a sensored speedo! All that timing and boosted and laptop stuff just wasnt my cup of tea. Took all the fun out of it for me. But i DO appreciate all your help tho

Had fun today guys. Good run Jimbo! Too bad the cvd's kept messing up. Just check the pin lenght like I said before. Make sure they are not mixed up with the axle wheel hex pins. Or switch to the light weight spring steel axles. You had a fast car though!

Good to see you again Chris C. Thanks for putting on the race along with the other Fayetteville guys.. Wished more had shown up, but it was still fun. See yall next time and be safe!

Results? Times? Give us the skinny! I know i missed a good one. Between my daughters 1st beauty pagent in charlotte and moving my bro, i had no time at all.

Thanks Jimmy. Yeah I always have bad luck especially when my car is handling good and I'm not bouncing off everything. I knew it was going to be hard holding you off but it was a fun day . Chric C it was good to finally meet you. Hope to see you guys again in a couple of weeks.

Chris I worked hard for 4th place Glen was in 5th. Sorry Chris, but I have the trophy to prove it. (Also, I didn't put Derik over the wall for nothing!!!) Was a great day of racing. See you Rosewood racers soon.
