Traxxas X0-1
I'm probably a little slow, but I just found out about the TRAXXAS X0-1. Anyone here know anything about it, other then it is suppose to be stupid fast right out of the box? Really thinking about getting it, just based off that lol!

It's Fast It's expensive and you need an Iphone or Ipad in order to unlock the esc for the extreme top end.
There is quite a bit of info on it now on the traxxas website.

Ha ha Yep I get around thats for sure.
Price is looking to be around $1000-1100. Remember this thing is big 1/7th scale.
I do think its a cool looking car but I can see lots of problems with an RC that goes that fast. You would need a huge area to run at those speeds and It would have to be closed off from the public to avoid people and property damage.

tell me about it....my EREVO B.E is at about 75MPH right now...and its a pain. Between tires and spur gears...then like last week..the occational run in with a trash can + curb...to equal a broken tie rod end....I can see problems for sure. Plus, people like me that can't settle to jus leave something alone and have to try to "improve" the design and make it faster...losts of "oop's" are gonna come up for sure.

I would really like to see some sort of aftermarket drogue chute for the thing, it would look really cool deploying at 100MPH.

Seems like if you can afford one of these bad boys, you could just get a new chute each time. I kid, I kid.

..i wouldn't be able to bring myself to doing it to an old school. I'd love to see a real RC 'd Lambo...crash lol..especially if it wasn't mine Plus, you could say "what a dumbass" to the guy that actaully tried it lol. But a classic....it would hurt to much, mine or not and all you could do is shake your head in shame

Biggest problem I see with this car is limiting it to Iphone and Ipad users. At least make it work with Android products. Otherwise tag another $500 onto the cost just to get an ipad.
