Pullstart or Starter Box ?

It ' s time to replace my pull start but now I ' m thinking of going a starter box and sticking a butt - sink on my engine ? What do you guys think ?.. is it worth the extra $ 150 ?

Depends on what you ' re running ; to me , any extra savings in weight is worth it . Especially if you ' re racing a nitro touring car . But look at it this way : buying a starter box is an investment that you can use later . From then on , you ' ll be able to buy non - ps engines for your cars / trucks and not worry about breaking PS parts , etc .

If you ' re just bashing around for fun , stick w / the pullstart and save your $$ and the effort of carrying around a box .
