I was thinking of getting some new gear sets for my Losi NXT, and am wondering where's a good place to get stuff like this as my local hobby shops don't seem to keen on ordering parts... Also, if I was to replace both my spur gear and the other one (forget the name of it) you know that one attatched to the crankshaft. Do I need to replace the whole clutch/flywheel with a new one, or is it possible to just get the end piece with a different amount of teeth on it?

Unless the spur gear is really worn down I wouldn't replace it. Just change the clutch bell to a different number of teeth. If you have a lot of use on the spur change it just to be on the safe side and get a couple of different clutch bell sizes. I'm not sure what performance changes your wanting,but less teeth equals more bottom end and more teeth equals more top end with less take off. You don't need to change the flywheel or the clutch. But while you got it tore down make sure the clutch doesn't need replaced because of normal wear and tear and also check the clutch bell bearings or bushings which ever you have. For the parts I usually order from Tower Hobbies they are pretty much a one stop shop. Hope this helps.

That helps, thanks man. I just wasn't sure if the clutch bell gears were of a standard size that would all fit nicely over my clutch shoes. I'll try and find some to buy, wanted to get a little more bottom end out of this thing so it'll do wheelies. =)
