I use Team Associated RC10GT mounts, but HPI makes the same mounts for the RS4. I'll send you my address today and get my wife to pack up the .12.

If I remember correctly the original Rush engine had integral mounts and the Evo will accept any small block (.12-18). It's been a while since I messed with mine so I can't recall if I actually used the RC10 mounts or I used the factory Evo mount.

You can get the HPI aluminum heat sink engine mount for like 30 dollars I think. They work just fine. There are two types, one for pull start motors and another for non pullstarts.

It's a little cool and ALWAYS windy. It would be nice if the wind would ever calm down.

quite a while ago I purchaed some Masher 2000 tires on some rims. The rear were 12mm hex's and the front were not so I figured they would work. Once I got them I realized that they would not fit on my stock front Rush spindles. So I went ahead and got some Traxxas steering knuckles in hopes that they would fit, and sure enough they did. That was a taxing lil adventure. I am having a hard time getting my hump pack into the battery box of the Rush. Any suggestions? Anyone? Killerush, what were you telling me was a direct drop in for the transmission?

I believe there are only two type of motor mount small block and big block, but not all small block mounts will fit in all small block vehicles

I run my hump pack in front of the front shock tower. I removed the rear battery box and relocated the battery for more front grip. It has worked very well on my setup.

between the front shock tower and body posts? Was that the RS4 differential for the transmission? Got a link or picture of it by any slim chance?

I have a 5 cell hump pack, it fits nicely in front of the shock tower and I use zip ties to hold it in place. The RS4 diff gears will fit in the Rush, not the tranny. Sorry no pics.

Yeah I have the 5 cell hump as well, I will have to check out that mounting tip for sure though. I also have the RS4 spider gears in there. I was thinking you were talking about something else.what is it Tuesday morning there?

It's Monday, a little after noon. I changed the gears in mine after the first break-in tank, that's when I found out the original spider gears were plastic. I am also running the RS4 bevel gear, which is geared a little differently than the stock Rush gear if I remember correctly.

See I thought you were talking about this here http://http://cgi.ebay.com/HPI-A435-...3286.m20.l1116 not the gears, thats why I was shocked. I tried that mounting tip for my battery. Looks like it will work nice. Give me some room in the back to fabricate some wheel bar plate.

I moved mine out of necessity. In tight turns I couldn't get on the throttle without chattering the front tires and developing a push. Once I moved the battery I can stay in the trottle in the middle of a turn. The only down side was I lost a little bit of punch coming out of the turns due to wheelspin because of the lost weight in the rear. But it is still faster per lap.

I spent all day getting one all modified, and all set up. All I need are crystals and to get the engine running. I couldn't get it going at all. It would get hard to pull where it was about to start, it would do it for days and not start. Anyone know the stock carb settings?
