I dont think its possible. On my tamiya pajero body that i removed all the decals from, i just used a hobby knife and tweesers to pull the decals off.

Does the XX4 have a rear slipper in addition with a front one? That sounds a litle stupid . I need to clean my car, but i don't have a manual, and I am afraid I may not be able to put it back together. Is there one online? I have that 3page thing off losi's site, but that is hard to read.

to my experiences, it can't be done, but i was wondering if someone found out a way to do it. I guess not. It's not important, i was wanting to put some pro line stickers on my 8th buggy 'cause none came w/ the crowd pleazer body i bought.

shadmaster4-- The XX4 does not have a rear slipper. The Slipper that is on the car is a slipper for the front and the rear. It is does not only work for one end of the car. I am not sure if losi will ever put that manual on-line since they have the XXX4 now.

rats. I will have to take some pics, and do it without the manual. I am usually good at remembering where things went, but I heard this car had a very complicated tranny.

if you spin the wheels in the foward direction, is the clicker supposed to sound? or is it backwards? I just rebuild the tranny, and can't remember. Also, mine had ballbearings in the steering. Is that normal, or is that some upgrade?

The clicker sounds when you roll the front tires backwards. Losi has an exploded view of the car whick should help you get things back together in a bind. Also ball bearing steering is an upgrade. Losi sold the 4 bearings in a bag for the upgrade to this car.

Cool! I didn't know it was an option....One thing, I couldn't get the screws out from the bottom of my chassis in the rear, to get the rear shock tower off. All the screws had dirt packed in it. Does anyone know how to get this stuff out? I took some rust cleaner, and sprayed away at the screws, hoping it would break up the dirt. I hate how losi has the 1/16in hex screws, they are hard as mess to take out, exspecially if you don't have a brand new driver, with sharp edges.

Most guys just use there exacto knife to clean out the holes. I got an old dental tool from a swap meet to do this job since using my exacto knife usualy broke off the tip. A broken tip still cleans out the holes well but it does not cut all that well anymore! The only people that do not use the 1/16th for flat head screw are the TIR titanium screws which use the 5/64 wrench for both the flat head and the cap head screws. As long as you get a good 1/16th wrench it should last you years. I am still using the same Thorp/MIP 1/16th wrench for the past 8 years.

hey, I took the xx4 out on concrete and did a power slide, and I later found I took off all the tread on my tires. What size wheels are on the xx4, and what tires can I get? I am looking for a street/concrete/grass tire. One that will last a while.. I have the dish rims on the pic on like page 11 or 12 i think. I already have the holeshot ones, and they wear fast. I am looking at the pro-line step pins in the rear and wide blade in the front...Are these compatible? Help..Thanks- Zack

I would try these in the front (pro-line 1073 Dirt Hawg III) and for the rear the Dirt Hawg I Pro-line #1071. These should be good all around tires for you street fun.

Stormer has them for 11.95. This is kind of what you will have to pay for tires. I do not know of a discount tire place other then looking on ebay for deals as them come up. Tower has the fronts for less then stormer so I would just go with them if you cannot get them from your lhs.

You can put 7 cells in the car if you have a small enough ESC. You put 4 on one side and 3 on the other. This is not legal for racing so it really is not an option designed for in the car but it can be done. You need a Cyclone or smaller ESC though.

I fit it in, I had to modify the battery hold down on the left side. I then took it for a run, and I was behind a tree and lost site of it and hit my garage smack in the front wheel. Broke a bulkhead. Does your front brace help it? Also, when I jump, mine always does nosedives. Do you hit the throttle or hit the brake to make it stay level?

That will depend on how it broke. If one side broke then yeah more then likely the brace would have helped. Since you need to get a new bulkhead anyway get the B3 brace (only $1.50) and if you have extra parts look for some longer hinge pins or some old shock shafts for cutting down and put the brace on. It should prevent that from happening ever again. I did not ever break a front bulkhead after I put the brace on.

if you are goin nosedown... you need to apply throttle to level it out. If you are too far back.. then you need to step on the brakes. Think about it... it makes sense.

Yeah sorry I forgot about that question. Gas raises the front end and brake lowers it. It has to do with the rotating inertia of the tires on the car. If you leave the throttle on a little longer on take off your nose should be higher also.

yeah... when i'm about to jump my storm, I juice it and it flies level 95% of the time. when a 4wd is jumping, it is like flying because you have total control of the car when it is in the air.

Hey, I don't have an XX4 for sale, but look in the classifieded section of this site, there are a lot always. Check with "fastzach" he may still have his for sale.

IS there any aluminum parts made for the XX4? Like arms, hubs, towers? I already have the clamp, and a few others. Does anyone custom make parts?
