Actually they I just now saw that they advertise that their towers are stronger than RTR but lighter than pro. Not as strong as pro though.

Does anyone know where you can buy Fiorini parts?

If yah want, jus ask your LHS. If they are good enough, they should be able to order them in. I dont think many people stock the parts because they are so expensive. My LHS says that Team Fioroni parts take about 3 weeks to get. Mabye its cause i am in Canada.

get the O.S. A5 if you are running high nito content (20%-30%). i'm not sure what to get for low nitro.

cold is for higher nitro content and racing. medium is for medium nitro content and hot is for very little nitro content.

I run a #8 in my Hyper .21. It would probably work just fine with the stock engine with 20% fuel.

If you remove a head shim you put a colder plug on. For higher nitro content you run a colder plug. ect.

I need help with one more thing again. lol I have never had trouble setting gear mesh with my other cars and trucks but this is a real pain. I tried the paper trick(which always works except with this buggy) it has a ton of drag and makes a terrible grinding noise. I can do it by eye but if I make it loose enough to not make a grinding noise pushing forward or backward it has a fair mount of slack in the mesh. If I tighten it up a little it will make the grinding noise pushing it backwards but not forwards. If anyone can help please post.

Thanks.

Me and my friend figured out what the problem was! When the motor is slightly diagonal, it will make that grinding noise. Whatcha gotta remeber is its metal on metal, which doesnt mesh that well. It is almost a two man job to get it soundin right. (it could also be that your spur gear is worn, check to see if the teeth are sharp).

Thanks, I noticed the slots were somewhat big in the chassis so it would allow it to turn sideways like that. Is there some trick to getting it in there right? The spur is worn somewhat but Im not going to damage my clutch bell by running it that way am I? They arn't jagged but they just arn't sharp.

Thanks!

First, Killer, HOLY S@#T what the hell happened???? Second, the crowd pleazer body for the MP 7.5 will fit the GS Storm. However, it might require a bit of triming.

I can't see the picture. Only a picture of a wheel and the chassis bottom. The crowd pleaser body that is made fits both the MP 7.5 and the Storm. I don't know about trimming. It says it fits both though.

After 3, 5 min. qualifiers, I started the A-main. About 10mins. after I started the car suddenly stopped on a jump. The screw that holds the clutch bell on came off and after a bid tripple jump the clutch bell came off and wore down the spur. I got a new clutch bell but the spur was way too expensive so I'm waiting until i save some money up or until some company comes out with an aftermarket spur.

thx for the info on the bodies.

Hey Got Speed... i do what a mate of mine told me to do with lining it up right. Stick in your paper (i actually put it in with a double fold so that i can jam it up nice n tight) and then flip the car over and align the straight part of the bottom of the engine casing (on lotsa engines there should be a straight rib running all the way along) with the side of the hole you are lookin through. Also, since those milled out slots for the holes are pretty much milled straight, just make sure the screws and the aluminium washers are all pretty much evenly spaced from the wall of the slot if you know what i mean...

Also, try to use a GS clutch bell instead of some other brand, because for instance, i'm using a mugen bell and the gears aren't cut properly to mesh perfectly with the GS main spur so it makes more noise than it should, and wears the gears more than it should. It still works fine tho...

Hope this helps

Yea, I noticed it was alot harder when I installed the Mugen clutch bell. Is there an aftermarket spur anyone knows of?

I tried the spacing trick by looking at the engine mount washers. It worked pretty good to get it straight but it would still sometimes be crooked at the top. Maybe an illusion. Ive got it meshed pretty well now but wouldn't you know, now I have to take out the piston and sleeve. lol

Oops, sorry , wrong wording...

should have been Hardened Steel not hard coated. Fioroni makes both steel and hardened steel, the difference is about $5. The Hardened one is alot like a Kyosho one I have.

Do you have a link? I can't seem to find it. Does is mesh well with the Mugen clutch bells? Because I stripped my spur the other day. I think mostly because it was pretty worn already and the Mugen clutch bell dosn't mesh perfectly with it.

Its not a spur, was responding to the question before yours. The Fioroni is a clutch bell.
