Nice find! That was my favorite chassis back in the day when I was racing and when they had a class for Supers. It was strong and sturdy.

It was definitely one of those deals where you're itching for the guy to hand it to you and say "goodbye" so you can run away before he realizes what's happened.
Does anyone have a Wolfpack chassis that could help me out with a couple of things? Three questions:
1. The conversion uses two HPI belts and one "custom" 72-tooth belt... guess which one I don't have. Anybody have a spare lying around I can buy from you? http://www.wolfpackradicals.com/html/kevlar_belts.html
2. I believe I'm missing some posts that go between the lower and upper chassis plates where they mount near the motor. Could someone take pictures from the tuned pipe side that show what I'm missing? If you could provide a length measurement for the part that would be awesome.
3. I'm not 100% sure how the front of the top plate connects to the front bulkhead... my spacing is off as if I'm missing a 3-mm spacer or something.
All help is appreciated!

Hey Magnus,
I have a wolfpack car but all my cars are packed up in storage because I'm moving. Might be awhile before I see them again....I'll look once everything is unloaded.

I think you have to get the custom belt from wolfpack himself. As for the other two, you are correct, the rear is just the standard rear belt, and the side it the main belt from the NRS4.
As for the part that your missing, I think I know what it is. If you take a look at your regular Super Nitro, there is a plastic part that holds a shaft and two pulleys. One pulley for the main belt and the other for the side belt. That plastic part also holds two bearings. You need a second plastic part.
I'm not finished with my rebuild yet, but I will see about getting a pic

Thanks for the help. I emailed Wolfgang last night and had already received a reply this morning - he said he'd send belts along free of charge! What a guy. I also took the opportunity to ask him about a couple problems I've experienced rebuilding. I took some photos, so I'll post them here too if you guys have insight.
The front bulkhead brace piece seems to be out of plane with the front bulkhead, as if I'm missing a plate or a piece. Any ideas on why there is a gap?
I didn't receive any posts or brace pieces for the rear of the top plate. What's supposed to hold this guy up?
Many thanks in advance. BMW shell looks great, by the way! And Cuda, looking forward to this body you speak of.

In the front, there should be a brace, and where the top meets the bottom, there should be two shafts and the place puller holder that will be empty.

I'm not sure the size of the shafts, but the front brace will eat up most of that gap in the front. I can probably get you the size of the shafts. You also have to cut the front plastic y-brace on my side by a couple of mm. I'm just not sure how much.

Hmm, it looks like I'm not assembling this correctly. So the gear brace stays in the back? I would really like to see a photo possibly with the upper deck removed so I can figure exactly how the front belts are working.

you need two gear braces for this conversion . One in the front that holds the shaft and pulleys, and the one in the rear that you see in my picture is just for support.
I know I have the instructions, but won't be able to get to them until next week.

Actually, the more I look at your picture, the clearer it becomes. Looking at your picture again
I see you have the front gear brace the way it should be. Now take a look at your picture and look at your two circles on the right there are 5 holes there and that's where your empty gear brace goes. Looks like the only thing your missing are the two shafts that extend from the top to the bottom. One going where you have the circle on the left, and one that goes in the front.
The only other thing that you should have is the top plates. There are two. One that you have shown, and a part that goes with it that kind of is in a y shape.

Excellent, I see it now. Thankfully I have a spare gear brace so that's good news. It looks like there are metal posts that support the upper deck on the pipe side of the car, but it should be secure enough without those until I find something that works.

Ah, so I DO have to trim down the top of the front brace. That solves the gap problem, then! Woot

Well I should be done with my rebuild by weeks end, I had to order a part which is something I was trying to avoid. I wanted to build from spare parts but it wasn't to be.

You gotta love this SNRS4 thread is rolling again.....nice to have Contender with his experience and references to help us out.
I was glad to see Magnus get the score of a lifetime. Congrats.
Here's my contribution without taking any thunder away from Magnus Wolfpack car and recent score.
I went to my buddy's house this afternoon and my box was waiting with a brand new super nitro body was waiting. We all know how hard these bodies are to come by...... but finding this rare one tops my list.
PTI Racing Porsche 962 SNRS4 body. These bodies are impossible to find and thanks to contender for helping uncover the manufacturer when I started my search awhile back.
Ok, I need some help from you guys.....we need to convince Contender to take on the painting project at his leisure (Consignment of course when time permits) to do this rare body justice. I have no business trying to paint this body and only would trust Contender with such a rare find.

cuda, what a score!!! That thing looks insane! How did you locate it? It's a good thing we have Contender around or we'd be butchering these rare shells with our feeble paintjob attempts.
I'm sending him my 300mm Diablo in the near future, between the two of us we'll have him busy!
